A single item sprite isn't loading in my resource pack while all the others are.
Hello, I am working on a resource pack for Minecraft Java 1.12.2. So far, all the sprites and textures I've made for it are loading into the game just fine, but this stone sword sprite I'm working on doesn't show up in-game. I've double checked its dimensions, format, name and transparency, and they all seem to be correct. I've been using XP Paint and Gimp to work on all my graphics, and all the other ones have worked except for this one.
Does anybody have any idea as to why this isn't working? I'm posting a link to the file on imgur so people can look at it.

Edit:
I've also added a copy of the resource pack folder so people can check it. It contains some placeholders and WIP stuff, since I'm using a template, so I apologize for it being a little messy....

selfishboy figured out my problem! I'd somehow saved the file as stone_sword.PNG instead of stone_sword.png and Minecraft didn't like that. After opening the file in Gimp and resaving it with the lower case file extension, it is now working!

I made test resourcepack and included provided stone sword texture - it work for me. Make sure the texture is located in assets/minecraft/textures/items/ folder of your resourcepack and named stone_sword
I double-checked its directory and filename and it still won't work, I'm afraid...
At this point I recommend including your resourcepack in the post, so we can troubleshoot it.
Selfishboy had figured out my problem, it turns out I'd saved it with a capitalized file extension rather than a lower case one, which Minecraft didn't like.
(I wanted to let you know in case you were still looking into it, I didn't want to waste your time.)

Oh, ok - good that your problem got solved ^^
That's a good idea. I've added a link to my post now. Thank you for your help! :)
can you message me the resource pack link.
I can do that :) But first I need to get some sleep. I can get you a link later.
