Why do I want to join Slugnati? The question can cause a wide variety of responses, the three main responses being; I want to socialize with more members in a common group, I want to gain popularity by joining a popular group, or I want to join sheerly because I can. The questioned's response is vital in the decision to except them as a new member.
The first, and most obvious reason to want to join Slugnati is to socialize with other members in a common group. This instinct is part of human nature. It can produce strong feelings that motivate a person to try anything in order to fit in with a group of peers that they wish to take part in. This response can easily be related to and generally has a good chance of getting the person in question accepted.
Second the reason many new members apply for membership. Many new members have a misconception that by joining a popular group they themselves will, as a result, also become popular. This reason is stereotypical of new members and may give the member in question a bad reputation. Hence it's very limited use.
The last response is that of someone whom doesn't truly care whether or not they are accepted or not. They apply simply because there is an opportunity to apply.
