I am fed up of being small like most servers are these days, because of Mineplex and the hive taking all the players, don't get me wrong they are good servers but it makes its really hard for some servers that have everything setup to get going and get players for example,
I have started up a vanilla skyblock server, I go to advertise on 2 -3 server lists then we just carry on with changing blocks here and there waiting for players, So you get your first one decent player goes to create and island starts playing, then leaves because of the lack of community, even if you talk to them and make them feel welcome does not make the fact you are an owner or staff any different so unless you get more legit players fast that person will feel weird and leave most of the time, then more people join advertising there server spamming chat, then people saying can I has op, where to I apply for staff etc. It really does get a pain being small sometimes, but again don't get me wrong sometimes having 9 - 10 players on goes really well.
But I made this post to join servers together, small servers, across modpacks to be part of the LegendNation Network we would not take any money from you we would just talk as a massive group, owners would still 100% Own there server so you would be expected to have skype and we would talk about players etc and ways to get more and linking servers to websites and becoming a massive network over lots of different game modes and become bigger as a network!
