So.. in this skin: www.planetminecraft.com/skin/i-tried-4257526/
I did more of a complex shading i would generally do..
So i was wondering.. should i keep doing that kind of shading?

Like dinow said do what ever you feel comfy with and it'll turn out better that way

Do shading that you feel like doing \o/ and match it with what look you want for a skin. Keep doing new things, trying other techniques, changing things up every once in a while. Sticking to the same thing never helps you improve or learn new things. Kaos_Kitten said it right. 😉

I would never recommend just sticking to one style, I not only switch my shading techniques but also my eye styles too.
I personally feel that certain designed need more complex/simple shading, so sometimes it's best to go with the design rather than a personal style.
Just don't force yourself to do something you're not comfortable with and ultimately never give up! You anything us better than nothing.
