Should I make a sequel to my map or start a new project?map
I recently posted my first real solo project to planetminecraft and it gained WAY better of a reception than I had expected. I had originally wanted to move onto a new project, and form a small build team for it (solo is so much harder than I thought) and just leave this long but finished project to rest, as I was pretty burned out by the end. (9 months to finish)
The reignition of the interest for the map makes me think a sequel would be interesting, but now I don't know if I should continue on adding to this already massive city, or just start something fresh. Thoughts?

If it's good enough for you, go next
Unless you've got both a mass of ideas for extending thecurrent amp AND a burning desire to work on what is likely to seem like the same project, I'd recommend a break and/or a change of pace.
Not to say that keeping notes on ideas for a sequel or extension is a bad idea, but working on something else (preferably something quite different) for a 'while' would allow you to attack any follow-on project with the benefit of a new perspective and fresh energy.

I think you would find it helpful to make something completely new. Implement ideas you can’t put in a sequel.
Let It rest. Move on to a new, fresh concept.
