Would you rather be trapped in a small hole with no exit and half a heart with a witch, an angry enderman, an angry iron golem or an illager?
Believe me, it happened to me with a witch once. I still don't know how I survived, but I just did.

Of course witch. Because the witch throws slowness and poison(poison can't kill players) first. She poisons herself(we are in a small hole). After she drinks health potion. I can kill her with punches. But I am trapped in a hole with no exit. Probably I will die from hunger. So I prefer iron golem. I want to die fast.
the poison gets u to half heart then it throws a harming potion so u die, also if the witch gets to low health it drinks a healing potion or a regeneration potion
I think I can kill her until she throws damage potion. Whiches drink potion slow. I can do more damage than the potion can heal. With fast and critical punches.

Illager. They take a long time to reload, and have no melee attack, and have the least amount of health. You could manage to kill it just in time.
no, illagers are the dudes with the iron axes. Pillagers are the dudes with the crossbows

I just found out, Illagers is just the group of evil Villager-type NPCs.

but in this poll, your playing on a hardcore world. Now what would you do? If you died in a hardcore world, you could not respawn and you would loose all your good loot forever
oh, then that would be fine because i play on bedrock not java
So instead of your world getting deleted, another player comes and steals your loot because bedrock has more players than Java.
oh...Well, when you died, you lost all your good loot and when you respawned, you forgot where the hole you were in was and when you found it, all of your loot despawned
Well we only had 1 cobble stone block
With walls close to build cover against, I should be able to close the pillager into a corner pretty quickly and then climb out.
it would take a long time to climb out, because your hole is at bedrock level and you don't have a pickaxe
do i have a buncha sheilds? If i have enough shelids and its a pillager i break the crossbow with the sheilds.

Because all of them will kill you, especially if you have nothing in you inventory, although you didnt specify what the player can actually get access to, or if they're surrounded by a non easily breakable block
