Hello this is a minor new dimension data pack that adds something simple. A new dimension that is a 1:1 copy of your overworld. It is pretty surreal to see the untouched land again lol.
You could find many uses for this that I haven't thought of but I will share mine: GeyserMC is a popular mod that allows bedrock players to join a java server. Bedrock has had an unsolved bug for its whole life (Still isn't fixed what a joke). At player positions of more than 60,000 blocks the bedrock player position jitters and you can fall through the ground. (Google: Bedrock Distance Effect). On my server I use command blocks to teleport players and change their gamemode at different locations where minigames are played. Think parkour, Ice boat racing etc. Well how can I separate the survival players from the Creative built OP builds. Initially I just built it at 2,000,000 blocks from spawn, problem solved except for bedrock's glitch (Java solved the glitch 10 years ago ridiculous that they haven't switched to 64bit location data vs the glitched 32bit). Now I will place builds within the duplicate of the overworld within the bedrock 60,000 block limit and tp players to it vs the main world. Just have to make sure they cant escape their minigame cages lol XD
You could prank someone by teleporting them to where there house should be when they are offline, I accidently did it to myself XD
Strongholds and Nether portals still exist in this dimension so don't let that cause havoc on your server if that would be a problem. You could change this in the datapack but I didn't need to.
There is no portal to the dimension you must use a command or command block to teleport to and from it.
Helpful command tip on how to get to the dimension:
/execute in minigamedim:minigame run tp @p 0 130 0
to get back to your main world:
/execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @p 0 160 0
(I couldn't find this when I needed it so made the datapack and sharing for others if they have the same issue as me)
1.18.2 Version: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/overworld-duplicate-dimension-1-18-2-must-manually-set-seed/
no license, you can do whatever you want with this

Can you make it work in 1.18.2 too?
