I know I'm like 3 years late, but how to do you make this apply to more mobs, so like lets say I want both zombies and zombie villagers to apply weakness on hit

Make sure you reloaded the world after you downloaded the datapack and put the datapack in the right world. I just tested it. It still works on 1.16. This was specifically created for someone on reddit to give weakness when the player is hit but it can be modified in any way

A person asked if I could detect if a mob hit them. I made this as a template to help them out. This datapack specifically detects if a zombie hits you and gives you weakness. Here is the reddit post
