DayCount is a simple datapack that shows the number of days in the world. It is also a bit more realistic since it shows the actual count of days, instead of what is used in-game. This is very good to use especially on servers so players can get notified how many days have passed.

You can customize where the Day Count is displayed using the command /trigger DayCount_Style. Only players in Creative Mode can use this command however.
  - it can be displayed in the chat
  - it can be displayed in the Action Bar, just on top of the Hotbar
  - it can be displayed as a Title on the screen

You can also check the Day Count whenever you like by using the command /trigger DayCount_Check. Any players can use this command and they are the only ones that will see it on their screen.

Are you on the latest version (Version 1.4)? And does showing it besides the Chat work? If it does, it might be an issue with a Chat setting.

How do I reset the day count? It is Day 226, and we want to revert it back to Day 1. How is this possible?

Just use the /time command. Setting /time set day should do it.

Are you sure? Won't that just change the time instead of resetting the day count?

Yes, the /time command will change your world's time which the datapack uses to display the day count. It doesn't have a separate way to count the days.

I mean to set it back to Day 1, instead of skipping to the next day

The /time command is only way to do it properly. It's the only way to change the world's statistics for time, which my datapack bases its information on for consistency and accuracy purposes.
