Welcome to a new datapack that adds a unique way to get weapon skins into survival mode
When you start a new world with this datapack installed, a villager on some blocks will spawn when you pick up an item, he sells cases that can unbox into certain skins, with varying rarity.
These rarities are:
Common - 70% chance
Uncommon - 20% chance
Epic - 7.5% chance
??? - 2.5% chance
Unique - even chance between entire case (so if case contains only these, they all have an equal chance)
61 new weapon skins are added (iron, gold, diamond, netherite swords, and bows)
If this pack doesn't work (if the villager doesn't spawn overhead or something) do /reload, it will usually fix the problem.

-Strange now counts how much you use a weapon.

Why does it have to spawn on the sky?
How do i open the cases?
do you plan adding more skins and other tools?
any chance some mobs may have lootable weapons with skins instead of regular?
why not give the villager a name and a proper structure to make him more flashy and visible?
the villager spawns in the sky so its still a challenge to get to him.
right click to open any case.
I do plan on adding more weapons, and maybe armor, but tools will stay out of this, oh and more skins will be here for sure.
I could add special mob dropped weapons, thats a great idea.
The villager has a name (technically) it just doesn't show, and I could make a proper structure, but i'd have to be very resourceless about it so the blocks from it cant be used for good.
i have tried everything clicking all my mouse buttons, reload, all crafting tables, even mouting a pig (yes i know its a carrot on a stick thats why i tried,and lost a case while doing so) im runniing snapshot 21w14a i dont know if thats the problem , everything works fine.
