    Because minecraft doesn't allow you to edit entity models without mods so I have a choice of either going the Optifine route or make a datapack and I think resourcepacks are too dependent on optifine already

    could you make an optifine version tho? I am annoyed by optifine only sometimes but do you think you could make an optifine version?

    I'm sorry I do not see myself working with optifine anytime soon but if anyone wants to convert my datapack into an optifine-dependant resourcepack I'm perfectly fine with it as long as I'm credited
