This datapack adds a custom Ghast themed Origin to the Origins Mod! These are its abilities:



GHASTLY
(Ghast-Themed Origin) v0.1.5

You are a distant relative of the floating organisms called Ghasts. A sad species, gifted the ability of flight... and fireballs!

Nether Inhabitant: You spawn in the Nether.

Lighter Than Air: Your body is filled with a mysterious gas that allows you to hover in the air. Use space and shift to float up and down. Your secondary key will toggle flight.

Atmospheric Gradient: Due to your fixed density, you cannot float above Y-Level 128 (Cloud Level).

Gaseous Combustion: Harness the power of your ancestors! Ignite the gas inside of you and launch a small fire ball in any direction! This ability can be activated with your Primary Power Key, and has a 15 second cooldown.

Inflated: The natural gases inside of you have the unfortunate side effect of making you a bit... w i d e. Just stay away from DeviantArt and you'll be fine!

Fire Immunity: You are immune to all forms of melting, burning, or fire damage.

Fall Immunity: You are immune to fall damage from any height.

Unwieldy: The way your hands are formed provide no way to hold a shield upright.



Tight Rubbery Skin: Be wary of sharp points, they'll make you burst! Arrows and cacti deal 25% more damage.


Lightweight: To remain afloat, you can't have any armor weighing you down! You are unable to equip armor heavier than leather.

Emotionally Sensitive: You are easily hurt, mentally and physically. You have 3 less hearts than a normal human.

Bad Legs: These boots ain't made for walking. Your slimy tentacle legs are very slow on the ground!

Wingless: You already know how to fly, why would you ever need an Elytra?





INSTALLATION TUTORIAL:



Hey guys its me, Null! Today I will show you how to download the origins mod and this custom Origin Datapack in Minecraft Java!

Step One:
Fabric!
You need the Fabric Client to run the Origins Mod. Download it here:
fabricmc.net/use/

Once you have downloaded it, install it. (Usually, you can do this by just opening the file)

Next, you need to open up your Minecraft Launcher and load the Fabric Client. Once you do that, close your Minecraft again.

Now you should have a mods folder! You can access it by pressing Win+R, typing %appdata% in the box and pressing enter. Then navigate to your ".minecraft" folder and then the mods folder. This is where you will store all the required mods!

For this datapack, these are all the required mods:

Pehkui Scale Mod: www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/pehkui
Fabric API: www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fabric-api

Download each .jar file and paste each one into your mods folder.
Next, pick a world you want to add the datapack to. Once you know whch one, go to your "saves/[world you picked]/datapacks" folder.

Download the Ghastly Datapack .zip file from here, paste it into the datapacks folder, join the world and you are done!



/reload will refresh your datapacks while you are in the world, and you can change your origin using the /origin command or by /giving yourself a origins:orb_of_origin :D
