This is a very interesting idea, specially because I also have a stars datapack, how do the stars work? Are they like the vanilla stars or do they have more movement to allow the feeling of them being shooting stars?

They are not configurable, they are actually particles being summon at y 500 (wax on & wax off). That is the reason I said that it may lag because it summons per player during night.

Interesting, did you use the delta option in the /particle command to summon them or you used something different in the options?

That's actually pretty useful.
Maybe we should do a kind of collaboration or something like that, your datapack seems to have stuff that can help me with mine, and I can give you some tips to prevent lag in servers
