This pack adds an extra new village to your Overworld dimension - the underwater kind!
As you go about your travels, you'll encounter these delightful connected domes in the deepest parts of Deep Ocean biomes. Nothing has been removed from Vanilla to make this happen.
Some sacrifices were made to create the villages: no stairs, slabs, fences, chests, or ladders can be found in Abyssal Villages, because a bug waterlogs them (even though the surrounding area is Air), and floods the domes. This means I had to resort to the old school water-column elevator in some buildings (which is rather appropriate anyway).
These villages really add a touch of beauty to the ocean floor. Kelp and Seagrass do grow on top of the domes, which really makes the villages fit right in. Enjoy!
Hint: Abyssal Villages use the structure type "minecraft:bastion_remnant", which otherwise can't be found in Overworld; hence, /locate minecraft:bastion_remnant while in Overworld will find you an Abyssal Village.

Hey if there is an open error with minecraft that inhibits you from making this datapack you might want to make a link that lets people view and upvote the issue if you're aware of where to find this. I've seen other content creators do this.
Thus far, I haven't encountered a bug that isn't already reported, and I have upvoted a few already.
Needless to say, I haven't tested with a 21w11a snapshot. That being said, none of the upcoming changes should negatively impact it, and one bugfix may allow certain improvements I have in mind for it :). I'd imagine it will work with 1.17 without issue.
