Hello guys, I'm back with another "Daily" blog.
I know I'm not living up to the "Daily" promise, which I apologize for. As I said in my previous blog, my computer broke, so I'm doing all my work on my brother's computer. (Thanks bro.)

Anyway, back on topic.
This is going to be a simple tutorial on getting you and your stuff noticed.

First of all,
You're going to need to create a unique (Or semi-unique) avatar. For example, look at mine. It's a Paril-tar. They're still quite common, but in their prime time, everyone put their own "twist" onto it. My "Twist" was replacing his face with Nicholas Cage. I don't know why I thought it was a good idea, but it has gotten me recognition on the forums. Some people have quoted my replies saying, "Nice avatar," and stuff like that.

A good avatar will get you profile views, which will get your stuff recognized. If they think you've been creative with your avatar, they'll think you make creative stuff, and they will check your profile.

Cautions:
Using your Minecraft skin as an avatar is cool and all. It identifies you. However, they're not unique, no matter how unique your skin is. It might sound confusing, but it actually isn't. Using your skin is two things: First of all, it makes people think you're just advertising your skin and saying, "Look how awesome I am! I make a lot of stuff like this!" The second thing is it makes the site kinda like Facebook; Everyone is showing their face, and nothing very "Special."

What you want is to make people think you're creative, without really saying it. Having a self-created, creative avatar, will hint to a person that you're creative and put time into your work.

Secondly,
You're going to (Obviously) have to make creative stuff. Think outside the box with your creations. Don't just post rants on the forums. They only attract a small audience. An example of a rant is "Stop saying Butter," "Sky is gay," "Stop making teen skins," etc.

Make more than blogs. Not many people read blogs. And many blogs don't have pictures. You're going to need a picture on them to grab peoples' attention. If you've just got a picture-less blog, your only audience will be current subscribers. (Unless you've got a creative title.) If you give people a variety of stuff, you will attract more audiences.

For now, I'm going to get back to the "Making creative stuff" subtopic of this blog. You're going to have to build unique stuff. Don't just build a simple redstone contraption that does one specific thing in a whole world. If you're going to make a map with redstone, and only want to upload one contraption at a time, then post them as schematics. Nobody wants to go through an entire world downloading process just to see a simple piston door, a light switch, or a use of wireless redstone.

Cautions:
Don't make stuff that everyone else makes. Try to make your own topic of creations. The possibilities are endless. If you want to stick to the topic of making Peanut Butter-and-Jelly themed creations, then do so. Just remember to stay away from the crowd of common stuff as much as you can.

Thirdly,
Advertise your stuff.
There are many ways to advertise your stuff. You can go to the chat room and give people links to your stuff. You can post a link to your project on other sites, such as Facebook (If your friends play Minecraft.)

My personal favorite way of advertising stuff is putting a link to your creation in your forum signature. There are a ton of people on the forums every day. If you're a regular poster in the forums, people will see your signature, get curious of what it is, and click it. If they like it, they might look at your profile, and see more stuff they like.

Cautions:
This is the most important caution note in this blog (Which is why it's highlighted and in bold) because it refers to a Planet Minecraft rule. While advertising, make sure NOT to spam. It is very likely that you will receive a ban for spamming your creation. Also, make sure if you're advertising in the chat, to only post an advertisement ONCE EVER FIFTEEN (15) MINUTES. If you fail to follow these rules, it is likely you will be given an infraction, a ban, or your submission might even be deleted.

Fourth:
Put effort into your submissions. If you're making a blog, make sure to complete it. Fill out every point/aspect you want to cover in it. Pretend you're explaining it to a child. Don't just assume people know what you mean. Also, make sure to avoid controversial statements, such as "Roblox sucks," "Minecraft sucks," "Republicans are the best," "Democrats are best," "Bacon is disgusting," etc. Think about how you'd feel if you supported the opposite side of what is posted. You wouldn't want to see more of that person's work, would you? To avoid this problem, you just have to simply list the pros and cons of each side. It might be a lot more work, but it will be worth it in the end.

If you're making a skin, make sure to put effort into it. (30+ minutes should be the minimum time)
Don't just slap a new shirt on a previous skin. If someone wanted that, they could do it themselves. Create a new, unique, design for each skin. You might even want to consider giving it a unique name. Don't just make a skin and call it "Boy," or "Girl." Give them a name, like "Thomas" or "Sasha."

If you're making a map, put time and effort into it. One of the main problems with making maps is that they're a labor of love. If you're doing it for the site exp, then you're out of luck. A quality map will take weeks to make, and it'll only get you so much exp. I'm a person that likes making maps. They take up lots of my time, and I'll only get so much experience out of it. But there's more to it than site exp. You get game experience. You figure out how to solve problems. You learn how to be patient. You learn how to be creative. Isn't that what life is all about?

If you're making a texture pack, don't just throw a few changed textures into the default pack and call it "Simple Craft." In fact, completely stay away from that name. It is the most common name for half-assed texture packs. (Not sure if I'm allowed to use that word. If I'm not, just let me know, and I'll change it.)
Most texture packs take days to make now. They used to take only a few hours. But since more and more stuff is getting added, many texture packs aren't finished. Only previously made texture packs are updated.

If you're making a mod, then you've got the most freedom to create whatever you want. You can do pretty much the exact same thing as everyone else, and you'll get hundreds of downloads. I know it's bad advice, but it is what it is. As long as you give people exactly what they want, you'll do fine. However, make sure not to use a mod making software. Those mods aren't allowed on the site.

Fifth:
Ask for help, criticism, advice, etc. People like giving advice. And there are a lot of critics on the site. Don't let hate bring you down. Use that criticism to either improve that current project, or use it constructively on future builds. Make sure to ask people what they think of your creation. If they like it, then great. If they don't, then ask what they think should be added. It's not very difficult, if you think about it. This will improve your creations, and people will like that.

Finally:
Make sure to be nice. Speak with good grammar. Don't be annoying. Don't spam smiles. Don't excessively swear. Make sure to complete your stuff. Make sure to put effort into your creations. People like that, and will respect you for it.

Another good thing is to ask for a diamond if people like your creation. Don't beg, but asking nicely (If they like it) for a diamond can get you onto the pop reel. Getting there is an honor, and it's essentially "Your moment to shine."

If you enjoyed reading this (1500 word long) simple tutorial, it'd really help me if you hit that diamond button. Favoriting it would be nice as well.
I'd also love it if I woke up tomorrow to see a few more subscribers.

Please don't just make projects for the site experience. Experience is worthless. I could care less what level I am on the site. I make my content because I enjoy helping people.

Good Advice.
Especially because you highlighted the fact of making a good submission, you can watch your grammar and edit your title and pictures all your want, if what you're uploading isn't good, then you will have a hard time getting noticed.
