I am Dxfferent, and this is What If... (WI...) and this is where YOU guys request something, such as:
What If Water was bad for us? etc
And then I, using my elephant brain, make up something!
To start us off, I am doing: What If The Dinosaurs Didn't Die? In honour of my favourite movie, Jurassic World.

Dinosaurs are beings that lived a very long time ago. They were one of the most successful species that ever lived, but what if, they never died? Dinosaurs died 'mysteriously' at the end of the Cretaceous period, which was about 145 - 66 million years ago. There are many theories to explain how the dinosaurs wiped out. Some suggest that climate changes ruined the atmosphere, that they all ate each other, but the most popular theory was that an asteroid hit the Earth. Not just any pebble-sized asteroid, they believe the asteroid was MASSIVE, and it caused shards of molten rock to come flying from the sky, eventually marking the end of the dinosaurs.
Before dinosaurs died out, they were incredibly successful. They roamed and ruled the Earth for about 252 million years, before their ultimate death. Some of the most superior dinosaurs, such as T-Rex, Raptor and more were wiped out, but some may be around us today.
But, what if, this superior race, never got wiped out? What if there was never an asteroid, or climate change? What if the terrifying reptiles from millions of years ago, surrounded us today?
Long story short, it would be catastrophic. Because Jurassic and Triassic animals had evolved into more powerful dinosaurs, we would be at larger risk. Especially with animals like raptors on the hunt, we would need to have extreme defense.
Dinosaurs are built to kill and survive. If they were not built like this, they wouldn't have lasted for millions of years. So if we, little humans, were their only choice of food, you could imagine us being the next extinct race. Maybe the dinosaurs would rule once again? What if they gain intelligence and learn to ride motorbikes? Obviously such a thing is highly unlikely, nearly impossible, but if they were able to learn from their mistakes and evolve for millions of years, I can gurantee it could be possible.
But what if, SOME dinosaurs didn't die? Take Jurassic Park for example. What if we replicated dinosaurs? Do you think it would be safe? It all depends on what we replicate.
If we take what they did replicate in Jurassic Park, it, most likely, would've been safe. Because of course, we won't hire a fat guy to steal embreyos and stuff up the security. Raptors could hunt in captivity, T-Rex could be admired, you could imagine a lot of money rolling in for these companies. I will say, this would be amazing. Not only do we get to look at some of the most successful animals that ever lived, but we get to see what they look like. In movies like Jurassic Park, that is all speculation. There is no complete evidence that they look like that in the movie.
One thing, too, is that we would have pure dinosaurs. In Jurassic Park, they admitt that to fill up the empty DNA gaps in the dinosaur DNA, they fill it with frog DNA. This weakens the aggressive-ness...?, makes them jump higher, and overall ruins the pure dinosaur we all know and love. (sometimes) But, I guess this is a good thing. If we had pure blood dinosaurs, we would be hunted down, because they have their full dinosaur instincts, no frog. Just dinosaur.
But, just like the scientist says in the movie, "God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs. Dinosaurs destroys Man." So I guess it would be a good idea if these dinosaurs stay extinct.
However, one of the most popular theories is, dinosaurs aren't extinct. Most scientists say they have evolved into our modern-day birds. They highly believe predators like Velociraptor/Raptors, have evolved into our birds today. Do you believe this is true?
Overall, If The Dinosaurs Didn't Die it would be catastrophic. Let's take a moment and be glad that these predators are long gone. They have had their shot, and it went well. But all things come to an end. So when you look at your modern-day bird, just remember, that thing, has evolved from one of the most successful things on the planet.
