Hello everyone,

I just wanted to show some of my pictures from the Universal Studios Event since I had fun. Not to mention, I’m sure some people may have missed the event.

Please note: No, the Harumi shown here isn't my normal skin rather it’s something I put together to resemble Harumi. As they didn’t allow custom skins (which is understandable). I was a try-to-be Harumi skin in the pictures.If you ever see me on servers, however, most likely I will be in one of my custom Harumi skins. If I'm on a server and you notice I'm in a default skin (ex: Steve or Alex), this is probably because you have "Only Allow Trusted Skins" on. If you want to see custom skins you can change it in settings under General-Gerneral- Only Allow Trusted Skins.

During this event, I enjoyed finding all 12 Secrets Clapperboards across the map.


Not to mention playing all the different minigames like parkour, Bank Heist, Target Practice, Swamp Stomp, Fishing Frenzy, and Director Says. Also no, the scores were not my first attempt, not even close I just took screenshots of some of my best scores. I have to be honest, I could not figure out Fishing Frenzy for the life of me and as the games didn’t have instructions I guessed on what I had to do.


Did I mention there was tickets to be earned across the map to spend on items for fun. The items include different blasters (Fire, Snow, Confetti, Tumbleweed), plushies (Princess Fiona, Shrek, Puss in Boots, Bruce), hats (Top Hat, Mobster Hat, Cowboy Hat, Safari Hat, Soda Hat, Unicorn Hat). The food includes Corndog, Corndog with Mustard, Hotdog, Pretzel, Milkshake, Donut, Churro, Churro with Sprinkles, Turkey Leg. After way to much time playing minigames I was able to get everything!


Outside of minigames and tickets, you could just have fun around the map in general with a tour ride, hidden details and places to take screenshots.



I have to say the tour ride was my favourite part, it was audible so you didn’t have to read the text during the ride (something I wish the minigame “Director Says” did.) which made it not only more accessible but more enjoyable. My only complaint was it went from behind the scenes of movies to here’s a complete retelling of Shrek, which was a bit of a weird shift. As for my personal favourite hidden detail in the map is someone who went 88 miles per hour.


Anyways this event was fun, although I was surprised what was in the map and what wasn’t. The Jaws ride is no longer at Universal Studios and they had a whole section for Jaws (no complaining as I do miss the ride but just a bit weird). For me it was a bit misleading as the entrance resembles one of the parks and I was expecting the map to be somewhat of a replica. Which other than the now removed Jaws ride it wasn’t.

Not to say, I didn’t enjoy the map I was just a put off because as mentioned previously it went from here’s behind the scenes of films to here is Shrek’s swamp. If they wanted to do behind the scenes lean in on it fully, or if they wanted all popular movies/ franchises why not have more than Shrek and Jaws? Like Twister( another ride that no longer exists), Man In Black (alien shooter ride that could have easily been the “Target Practice” minigame) , Harry Potter (which takes up most of the parks), Transformers (Was that what the bee was for? Bumblebee? Or is it something else.), Despicable Me, etc.

Despite my nitpick I did enjoy the miningames (except Fishing Frenzy). If you ever notice me on a server, don’t be afraid to say “Hi Quiet One” or something. I don’t talk much since I prefer just exploring or playing minigames but if I noice you I’ll make sure to say hi back. I'm normally on the Hive, but I like these Minecraft events too. If there’s no chat (like in the case of this event), use the wave emote.
