It was morning and high princess Arian was sitting on her throne when a knight came to her with urgent news, "princess, I have returned from my scouting in the forest and this time we went deeper in the forests and we found a castle" he said, "A castle? How odd... Wait where's your squad?" Arian said, "That's the thing the castle gates were open and we walked into the throne room there was a princess standing there. Her eyes were glowing red and the other knights looked in her eyes and had a slow painful death" he replied, "Interesting... Well I'm going to go check out this castle" Arian said. Arian tried to get a squad of knights to come with her but they were all to scare, so Arian rode her horse to the castle and she entered the throne room where a princess was sitting on the throne, the second she saw Arian she covered her eyes with her hand and hid behind the throne, "who are you?" she asked, "I'm the high princess Arian from a near by kingdom" Arian said and the princess ran upstairs to her room. "wait! Please don't go!" Arian called after her.
"She lives her alone... She hasn't left the castle in a long time... She needs a friend, please talk to her" A voice said coming from behind Arian. Arian turns around to see a young boy who looks allot like the princess. "I will" Arian runs after her to find her in her room looking like a wolf curled up on the bed crying and a cloaked figure on the window sill reaching a hand twords the princess, the second Arian entered the room, the figure jumped off the window sill and disappeared into the forest. "Hey it's alright, I'm here to help" Arian said, the princess grabbed a cloth and covered her eyes with it than transformed into a human and turned twords Arian, "Really?" "Yes, what's wrong?", Arian asked, "I'm... I'm cursed. My name is Ruby it's my fault that I'm all alone... I'm the most powerful wolf there is, I'm the Alpha wolf. The blood Ultima... and my eyes can kill"

"Wow that's allot... Well then I'm here for you Ruby. Friends?" Arian said, "Friends..." Ruby says and hugs Arian, "Thank you, I've never had a friend before" Ruby says. After awhile Arian leaves Ruby's castle and starts to head back to her palace. The next couple days Arian would go visit Ruby, but one day Arian lost track of time and so her guards came looking for her.

Ruby hears the guards approaching and when the guards saw Ruby, "Monster! Kill her! We must protect the princess" one of the guards yelled, and the other guards run towards Ruby ready to attack "You sent them to kill me?" Ruby asked, "no! I would never!" Arian said, Ruby took off the cloth covering her eyes "If you want to kill me... Then death will come to all of you!" Ruby said.
"No! Everyone stop this! Stop now!" Arian said, "but princess she could hurt you!" One of the guards said,
"She is not evil! She will not hurt me... She's just been needing friends, she won't hurt you. Trust her please lower your weapons!" Arian said, and all the guards lowered their weapons. Ruby looked at Arian and hugged her.

A couple days later...
"Hey Ruby I'm having a Masquerade ball tomorrow night, I would love it if you could come" Arian said, "Shure sounds fun... But what am I supposed to wear?" Ruby asked, "I can have a ball gown be made" Arian smiles and the next couple hours Arian had some people work on a ball gown for Ruby.

The night of the ball:
Ruby walks into the ball room wearing her new purple and black ball gown and a sparkly mask that matched her dress, as the ball goes on through the night Ruby notices a strange boy with black hair but before she can talk to him, he disappeared into the crowd. When Ruby spots him again she follows him out into the hallway, "Hey! What are you doing? Leaving so soon?" Ruby asks him, "oh...um" he seems startled but doesn't turn around, "My name is Jackson. Jackson Heatcliff. I'm going to be crashing this party" he says, "Than I'll stop you!" Ruby says, "I don't think you will" he says and two dark figures come out of the shadows and grab Ruby, before she knew it there was a hand over her mouth "sorry... princess but you're going to have to do better than that" Jackson says as the world fades to black for Ruby. When Ruby wakes up she finds herself tied up and outside behind a tree. Ruby breaks the ropes and runs inside to the ball room to see the chandelier starting to fall, it was going to fall on Arian. Ruby pushed Arian out of the way, and the chandelier fell on Ruby, just before it fell on her Ruby transformed into the blood Ultima and the chandelier breaks before it hit the ground.

All the guests stare at Ruby in shock of what just happened, "Arian are you okay?" Ruby asks transforming back, "I... I'm fine" Arian replys. From wherever Jackson made the chandelier fall he stares blankly through the shadows at Ruby, "who is she?" Jackson mutters. After the ball Ruby catches Jackson leaving, "Hey Jackson! You made the chandelier fall didn't you?" Ruby asks, "I might have... What's your name by the way?" Jackson replys, "I'm Ruby... Ruby Crystal" Ruby says, "You're the blood Ultima aren't you?" "Wha... How did you know?!" "I know many things" "well than I'm going to bring you to Arian" "I'll be gone before you can" and with that Jackson disappears in the shadows...
