Notice: This is not a rant on specific servers. And I realize that this list is highly opionated. So please do not get to offended if you don't agree with one or the other. But feel free to state it in the comments bellow if you wish.

Hello everyone ! I've been having a pretty bad day, but due to a positive response on my top ten most hated server players blog yesterday. I now bring you the top 10 most hated types of servers. 1.) The bootleg server:
This is the type of server that will have you spawn in a world edit cube of glowstone and cobble the size of china, due to lack of staff building abilty. None of the staff can help you when asked about an issue due to lack of knowledge on how to do what what they were hired to in the first place. Even when theres triple the amount of staff online compared to players. In most cases the server owner simply hired anyone over the age of ten that managed to put together a two and a half sentence application.

2.) Hardcore Vanilla
If you're going to make a server putting in little to no effort into coding or plugins it would probably be easier to just purchase a realm. These servers are basically Minecraft single player with 'friends' in short. But there's a few problems problems. How would you like to have to eat every 30 seconds to prevent youself from dying of hunger? How would you like your base to be surrounded by 50 hostile mobs at night, especially if built underground? How would you like not being able to play with friends because you don't even have access to a simple /tpa command. Unless you're dedicated enough to use complicated coordinates every single time you want to meet up somewhere. No offense to hardcore vanilla owners or players, I just personally can't stand it

3.) The Rushed:
This is the type of server that the owner didn't bother to finish before begging  people to join. Mostley everything is barely functional and players who do join have to deal with server lag and resterts way to often as the owner adds plugins and updates that should have been included in the first place

4.) The One Month Wonder:
This is the type of server in which the owner manages to put together about 15 dollars to open for a month. Maybe two if they're that rich. And expects to both develop and open the server within a month. Then get players to donate right away in that time period. In most cases even asking staff to pay them, which is somewhat counter productive unless they willingly wanted to. Sometimes even offering op and owner ranks to people who donate a day before the server shuts down due to the owner being that desperate.

5.) The dictactor server:
This server usually consist of too mature staff. Sure, the have to keep a certain standard of respect and authority. However these people stick to the server rules as if it was law.I'm not talking about respectable rules like keeping clean language or no hacking. I mean the ones that will ban you for something as little as taking a dirt block from someone elses base.

6.) The Ghost Staff Server:
These are the types of servers that you join and the owners/staff are never online.  It could be a saturday afternoon in the middle of summer break and at most you'll see is the occasional afk admin. That goes offline after 15 minutes.

7.) Money hungry
These are the types of servers that either have $250 dollar donation ranks or give people who do pay a little too much of a general atvantage. "For 10 dollars a month you can ban and mute players"

8) The overly busy staff:
It's understandable that sometimes staff has to ignore miniscule player request to get things done. But these ones fail to realize that at the end of the day, what they're trying to do in the first place is for the players. And if you're to busy working on that bad minigame to help players with bigger issues they're having or listen to what they actually want. You wont have any players left to use what you were working on.

9.) The troller:
It's fine to mess around and prank players now and then on servers in a harmless way. But when you over do it to the point the player is considering quiting, you know that you're pusing it. Unless it's that one over sensitive player.

10.) The Copy and Paster:
It's okay to use other peoples work who allow you to, especially when you edit it enough to the point you put in just as much work as they did. However there are some servers that copy and paste so many things it turns out bad. Going from a giant mid century  kingdom as a spawn to a replica of the tower of piza as a donor room... you know... just because they can. And it tends to give it away even more that the owner didn't even atleast put in work to edit it to be fair, when the server owner has a name like waflez2003 and barely even knows even know how to use essentials color codes.
