Steve kept mining. Curly, the Spider, and Moe, the Zombie, crept more towards Steve.
Steve was getting quite anxious. “Why won’t this Gold break?” He thought. Getting ready for a big hit, he threw his pickaxe upwards as if he were about to give it a finishing blow- only to hit Moe in the face.
Moe stumbled back, tripping over Curly. They both collapsed near the lava pit. Steve quickly glanced behind him after hearing the ruckus. When he saw nothing, he went back to mining.
Curly and Moe silently climbed back up the small cliff. “What was that?!” Curly cursed at him.
“Shut up! I’m trying!” Moe quietly yelled at Curly. Moe glared at him.
They crept towards Steve again. Steve was still hard at work on his Gold. “This stubborn ore!” He cried. He started mining faster, but got nowhere.
Steve, upon realizing his ladder was gone, crafted a new one and placed it. He climbed up a grabbed a Diamond Pickaxe out of his chest. He climbed down. Although the last step was especially… squishy.
“Ow! My head!” Curly cried. He spat out a tooth. “Finish him Moe!”
Moe crept closer. Steve mined harder and faster with his Diamond Pickaxe. Then, POOF! His Gold! He turned around and shot his hands up with joy, Gold in hands- and uppercutted Moe.
Moe fell straight down to the ground. Steve, being oblivious to Moe and Curly, went to go take a nap after a long mining day.
