I never thought I'd be making a blog like this. I'd joined PMC over a year ago on September 5th 2012, for one reason, to post a server me and a friend owned. That server no longer exist, and as time went by, I realized this account was sitting here, doing nothing but taking up space. I made a skin called "An Average Gamer" which was a horrible skin and it's title didn't match it, but anyways, I started posting some more content.

Eventually I posted two packs (both are now discontinued), Guncraft and a Star wars themed packed, each getting more than 1k downloads on the first day. I gained a small amount of subscribers from this, and I felt "famous". So naturally, I posted some more content and soon enough I was producing weekly skins. I met a few friends on the way, like SkullduggeryCain, Catofawsomeness, and some others, but as I started making more skins, it grew more boring each time, sure the diamonds and levels were rewarding, but I just lost that force that drives me to make more skins, so I went on hiatus. This was my first major hiatus, I left after posting a Jeb Skin, and around a month later I came back with another horrid skin, a steam punk engineer. After that I posted three more skins, then I went on another hiatus. I came back with two things; a skin, my new personal skin, and a blog about PvP. The last thing I posted was a modern build, "Tranquill Bliss". Which is actually deleted now due to a server reset.

School, family, and friends are the cause of my hiatus, that and the stark excuse of no excuse of course. When your taking advanced classes you get double the amount of homework, and expectations from teachers. Friends, like I mentioned above led me to open a minecraft server, which I posted on PMC, (but then took down due to hackers.), so my time, yet again, was occupied. This was around summer (June-august), the server was a big responsibility and took a lot of my time, time that I used to use for PMC. Then the server shutdown officially on August 27th 2013 due to a host related problem (non funding related.). August, for many people is the start of a new school year, so yet again I had school work to sort through. As always, family is an important thing to tend to so I was occupied with that as well.

Even though the timeline of my hiatuses is a little inaccurate, the point of this blog is to say one thing, and that one thing is that I am leaving Planet Minecraft. I have school to attend to still, as well as family, and of course, friends (real and minecrafty.) With this I am leaving skinning and such, blogging, and building. The Planet Minecraft website is a great website with great and dedicated members and staff, and I say thank you to everyone, for being yourself, for making Planet Minecraft how it is today, a great site. It's been a wonderful year, hiatus or not, I will remember this site, and it will have a special place in my heart. I am always checking PMs, the forums, and diamonding/commenting on projects, so I'll always be around I guess.

Now, I'm off to count stars, yeah count stars.

OH YES! That hiatus of a hiatus was so long. Lurking in the shadows is quite fun, I do say. Now that a new skin system is being implemented, I've decided to rejoin the community with a new burning passion to strive to be the best. I have plans to resume old content, and to start new content (Such as game reviews :D). I'll most likely be less active than what most people consider 'active', just, you know, casually posting when I have time. So, ALLONS-Y!
