No matter how much one communicates or interacts with the world, one fact cannot be shaken. We are utterly alone. There is no one there to think and perceive the environment with us, not even those we love most. In the infinite vastness of thought we are left by ourselves to explore it. No one may guide us, accompany us, or distract us. We must wander the never-ending universe housed in our brain without any others. It is up to us to discover the true meaning of our conscience and beliefs which cannot simply be told to us.
No matter how many friends you have or how good your internet is, one fact remains. you are utterly alone in the single-player world. No one can help you explore the world and find your resources for you, not even your best friend. No one may teach you, play with you, or grief you. In the great, blocky, never-ending world, you yourself must find what truly makes it special. It is up to you to discover the true beauty in gem we call a randomly generated seed.
Those we interact with, though they do not share our mind, can still teach us. By interacting with others we discover ourselves. We see what we can truly accomplish, and what we truly believe. We understand ourselves, then see peace, and die happy.
Those you speak with, though they do not share our seed, can still teach you. By interacting with others you can discover ways of bypassing scarcities and dire situations. When you truly understand the world, you can then use it to it's full potential, and delete it, satisfied.
Apologies for the rather short and sloppy blog. I just felt I had to get this out there in some way, and I also wanted to try something new. If you didn't understand it is a basic comparison between the human mind and a Minecraft single player world. Feedback on the idea and topic is much appreciated.
