I was playing Minecraft single player, and I was getting a BIT bored after a few months of nobody else. Ever. At all. I mouthed this complaint to my friends at school, and they told me to play multiplayer. I retorted that I had tried, but couldn't find a server that looked interesting. They introduced me to an amazing survival server known as Magnacraft!

The Community (10/10)

Now, I joined and was given free tools by said friends. Diamond ones. However, not all players start with these perks. That is what makes the server so great: The friendly community. Nobody will every curse you out, or tell you to kill yourself and leave. Everyone is incredibly friendly. You come on, and people engage you in conversation. You get a couple of laughs with someone and BAM! You're in a town. Towns will share their resources, and help you help them help everyone in the town. Getting the tools. The town will prosper, and you will become rich. Which brings me to my next point.

The Plugins (10/10)

I was griefed once in the server. Then, I decided to join a town, where you can't be griefed. This way of plugin setup forces you into socialization, which is a prime aspect of the server instead of living alone in the wild with your singular grief protection. If you do that, you get griefed. Now, griefing is not allowed, and the moderators will use the hawkeye plugin to see who griefed, and ban them. They will then roll back your house to good as new. The towny plugin allows for pvp towns and non pvp towns. You can set up plots for certain people to have houses, and as the population grows, you can appoint town assistants that have more power, and they are "Moderators for the town".

This server balances its plugins perfectly. It still sticks to the vanilla feel, but it has essentials, many anti-cheat plugins, showcase, iconomy. It has a well established shop, as well as a player market. (These are currently not existing because of the 1.6 update.) These things make it like a vanilla ice cream server, not just a vanilla one. They have an anti-naggin plugin. (Not really, but it allows for mod requests.) To use it, simply type "/modreq " This will go to every staff member's account, and will be stored until the problem is solved. This is an excellent plugin.

The Staff (10/10)

This server has excellent staff. They choose their staff over months, so you know for sure that the staff will be trustworthy. Sadly, though, because of this process, you see staff a bit less often than some would expect on a server like this. The staff quality makes up for it, though. The staff have great personalities, and will help in any way they can. I love all the staff on this server, and everyone on it has a great personality. They aren't anti-social rules only no fun people. They engage in activities and conversation. They play the server, just like everyone else, and never abuse their power.

The Ranks (10/10)

On this server, you are definitely rewarded for playing regularly. You start as a member, but if you play for a while (Around a month, I think. It's up to the owner's discretion), you become a regular. You earn kits that aren't too overpowered and some commands. Then comes veteran. You earn more kits, still not too overpowered, none are in this server, and some new commands. The final and most recently added rank is elite. It is the highest non-staff/donator rank. You earn more kits and commands, as well as a lot of respect. Elite is the ultimate goal for many players.

Magnacraft is really one of my favorite servers. It has a great community, great staff, great plugins, great rank system. Everyone loves it who is on. I would really recommend this fun server. You won't regret the experience!

By the way, I'm leaving PMC again for 2 weeks, as I won't have any access to internet.
