AMC's 'The Walking Dead' intro recreated
(Season 3 Intro coming soon! Check update log)
After nearly a month of work, here is The Walking Dead intro, recreated in Minecraft. All of the original shots from Season 1-2's intro were built, shot and edited to mimic the original, scene for scene.
This project was started on 2/11/13 and finished on 3/10/13; roughly 28 days of building sets, filming, editing and adding effects. Each shot ranged from 1-2 hours to build, then another 1-2 hours to edit, some of the more grand shots could have token 6-8 hours. And these shots were only up there for about a second.
I used episode 8 of season 2 as my base. Some episodes have the sequence in which the scenes appear in different order, and the credits tend to change.

I took one of The Walking Dead's posters and recreated, it was originally going to go along with this project, but I couldn't find anywhere to fit it.

Will there be a series?
Probably not, this was not made to go along with any kind of new series or movie.
It will always be a possibility in the future, but as of right now, it won't be happening.
No, you don't want to download this:
A lot of people have been saying "can't wait for this to come out" or "where's the download link", there isn't one. It's just the video, I know the map may look cool but it's actually quite a disaster, there isn't just 1 world, the sets are spread out over at least 4 different worlds. What you see on the scene is all there is, most of the buildings are only half built, some things are at odd angles to simulate a forced perspective. I'll probably do a Behind-the-Scenes video showing everything later.
