First of all, I would appreciate a diamond for this hard work and maybe a cheeky favourite?
Introduction-
In this tutorial I am going to tell you three various tips to help you achieve a higher amount of views, and possibly some diamonds. If you do use any of these tips you will be guaranteed more views, whether they come over time or come over a smaller period of time. Just remember to restrain yourself because getting a popular project takes time and the need for subscribers; the more subscribers the more people/robots/cyborgs you can rely on, on getting your submissions on the popular reel increasing your views. Anyway, enough of this random chat leto s cut to the chase.
Tip 1-
The first tip I will give you is about the presentation of your project, if your project looks tacky it really wono t get viewed whereas if it looks smart and neat it really will.
First of all, you want a short and snappy title to attract your potential viewers without scaring them off with a wall of text, not only does it scare people off it also looks very scruffy.
Next, you should create some unique images or take screenshots of your submission. If your submission is something that is done in-game (a mod, texture pack, etc.) then you should press F2 whilst looking at what you want to capture (note: pressing F1 hides your ugly HUD so you can take better screenshots). Whereas if it is something that isno t in-game (blogs, mods, etc.) then you should press PrtSc/Print Screen to capture an image of your PCo s screen (note: pressing Alt+PrtSc will only take a picture of the current window you are in). Creating special logos or banners for projects also looks good, for example if you look at the popular reels they mostly have a cover-photo which was made by them. This makes your submission appear more professional and gives it a nicer look.
A good way to get views is to have a YouTube channel and to record a demonstration of your submission so people can see what it looks like and how it works, this is very effective and definitely rakes in them all-important views.
Another thing that you should do is name your download links appropriately, make them seem mature and professional; dono t name a file mirror to your texture pack (or whatever it is) o OMG FILE MIRROR!!!!!o or o CLICK THIS 1 4 FILE MIRROR!!!o , etc. Naming them appropriately definitely makes your submission and you look better.
The final thing to do with improving your submissiono s presentation is to make the description look good. This is the big thing (excluding photos) that people read and find out about your submission, from. As this is possibly the most important part of your submissiono s design. It should be well-formatted and should have good structure and should look good. You can put it into MS Word (Microsoft Word) and add different dividers and alter the fonts to make it look better. Add some banners and fancy titles, anything to make it look good but not over-done or over-crowded with big pictures, etc. You should also have a good looking description to aid the next tipo ¦
Tip 2-
Your description should also have correct format and SPAG (spelling and grammar), to do so open up MS Word and paste your writing in there, sort it out then copy that back into your PMC submission box. Although your description needs structure and good SPAG there is a lot of people that just dono t post enough in their descriptions, there are many mods that dono t actually have any information of the mod; they just say o Please diamondo or whatever; this is not good. This is frustrating as it will be impossible to understand how to make certain items or what-not. The description must be informative and must look half-decent at-least.
If you have a lot of detail in what you are posting you will get them downloads and diamonds because people will be able to work out what the mod or skin, etc. should looks like and do. This not only helps with getting to show off good information but it mainly helps with o customer satisfactiono .
Tip 3-
So, my final tip is actually more about how you should go about advertising your submissions. You should not go about advertising your submissions on anyone elseo s submissions because you will be gladly reported and you will find your submission will be trashed.
Also dono t go spamming links to your submissions in every forum topic you can find, you should only post a link to your submission once in your own thread, only make one thread and only post your link once.
Other than that ways to advertise are things such as posting your link to your post every 15 minutes in the PMC chat dono t post every 5 or so minutes otherwise youo ll be hit with the ban-hammer. Another way to advertise is to post your links on other sites such as YouTube videos or maybe on the Minecraft forums, you decide!
