That feeling ʘ‿ʘ you get when you get a diamond.
How good will that diamond feel when you know they are harder to get? you know..like in minecraft itself.

Lets be real here.
The diamond system on PMC just promotes bad posts, skins, projects and everything else.
I personally don't like going through a bunch of hurried steve skins while looking for a good skin.
The good post's are buried in the bad.
I propose a negative diamond button right below the postitive diamond button.
Nobody will improve their work or remove posts that are bad if they recieve positives all the time no matter what.
We need a balance.
I doubt this will even be considered by pmc staff but I know that you can't have change unless you try.
I personally would love some negative feedback on my post's, because I know not all of them are great and I would remove them if I was in the negative diamonds.
A lot of people on pmc are very nice and do not want to tell a person that they could have done better or took more time on their work. The negative diamond system is anomynous, but It sends the message.
So many creative and artistic people on pmc, it would be nice to see them... but a lot of them are buried under crap post's.
Just letting those first time skinners, bloggers, texture pack makers, and other artist know that I am not talking about you. You are bound to not be that great at first, but at least you put effort into your work and tried to make something good. [I am not a great skinner myself, but I put time into mine and try] I personally would welcome a negative diamond system.
What do you guys think about this idea?

If you wanted to take a diamond from me for this post...you would be welcome to.
If you read the article you would have seen that is what I said.
It's so silly if you comment on something with negative criticism and tips on how the author can improve just to get blocked by the user minutes later.
Negative diamonds were banned from this site once for a reason I guess, reinventing downvotes wouldn't be an option here anymore.
Also, diamonds still affect your xp and losing a level or two as a skinner because one random hater gives a negadiamond on all your 100 submissions would be horrible.
Instead of making anonymous hate a thing on this site I would say that people shouldn't have the right to delete hate in the first place.
A bad comment on your submissions means, that you have done bad and that you should improve, and not, that "you are surrounded by haters who's comments you should delete immidiately".
Normally I wouldn't do something like that, but the comment section didn't give me a different option.
