GUYS STAY PROTECTED!

well hello again this is my third blog and it's about safety on PMC...

I noticed recently quite an amount of unsafe things being posted, but the moderators have been swift in locking the topic and removing any existing links...

But I have seen this site has some protection in that you can't upload anything that is an executable file, therefore nothing can infect your system, just your minecraft.jar

But the big worry I've seen on the forums recently are 'password generators' with executable files. nobody should download these it most likely will harm your computer or get you in trouble...

This being the sense that most of them seem to you have to launch a .exe file and install it, but do you really know what you are installing? What you're installing could be the gateway for this hackers way into your personal life and details (credit cards etc.)

As when files like this are launched, they can allow a key-logging or back door trojan into your computer. this is not good, these files allow the hacker to see everything you are doing what you are entering saved cache passwords everything.

but the other huge concern I have is that seeing as yes indeed it is a random number that is 20 figures but it saves it as a text file on your computer, and yep you guessed yet the hacker can read this... so if you enter this on a website such as paypal, facebook and alertpay? and use this as your password then they'll easily access your account.

IF YOU LIKE THIS BLOG THEN DON'T JUST SAY GREAT JOB, GIVE ME A DIAMOND!

Thanks, Plain Creator!

most of the time its not just password generators, its also (sometimes) fake mod installers and recently anti ban software that supposedly allows you to un-ban yourself and allow you to hack the said server, these types of programs use trojans to make said "passwords" or "anti-ban software", your blog should include these things so people can keep an eye out so we can remove these fake "helpful" programs.
