Snow
Awake, Open, Full of life
the beauty of my maker in my sights.
Oh, how I adored his burgundy head
the grass so green, his blood so red.
Days past, our friendship grew
I did not know what to do.
Snowballs thrown in his protection
holes abundant, now I sit in reflection.
My master, oh so wonderful.
How he keeps me outside
when the monsters come to play.
Oh, so wonderful,
how he puts me in the fray
and leaves me alone come the light of day.
One night the master got too aggressive,
he was down on his luck, and pressed it.
The wonderful monsters, the terrifying horde
caused sweet master to come home to the lord.
His final moments I watched with glee
as he came rushing ever faster towards me.
In front of the door to safety I stood
not moving, wondering if I should?
My master oh so wonderful.
How he keeps me alone
until there are monsters to slay.
Oh, so wonderful,
how easily I am laid to waste.
If not helping him, considered a disgrace.
Finally, he reached me, eyes full of dread.
I stood steadfast, as the arrow went through his head.
I almost felt for the poor old sod.
I raised my head grinning, giving the skeleton a nod.
At last I’m free, to enter my creator’s domain,
no longer am I used for his personal gain.
I entered the fortress my eyes glowed bright,
so many structures to explore, blocks crafted from light.
Explore I did going from sight to sight,
potions for speed, health, and might.
With each trip I made, I left a little behind
never did I know what I would find.
Wrapped up neatly in a bow
inscribed with the words “From Steve to Snow”.
I found a gift, opening which led
to a perfect little hat to fit my head.
My master oh so wonderful,
how he cared for his little Snow.
Always making sure that he stayed cold.
Oh, so wonderful,
He tried to save me from this plight,
However tonight I see the light.

"With each trip, I made I left a little behind"
The coma should be after "...I made..."
