so first off i changed my user it use to be whimsical but its december now

By the riverside, you gave me rose
It showed me our love, our hope, our dreams
I cherished it and held it close to my heart.
The rose was blood red, it was beautiful
Much like our love.
I put the rose in a vase and put where I could always see it.
Later on, you didn't care much.
I cried and you didn't wipe my tears like you used too.
Roses have thorns, I knew.
Our love had thorns, I could not deny.
The thorns pierced my heart, but I ignored
Our love was weakened, but I hoped that you would not
cast it aside, and leave it behind.
The rose was a little wilted, but still beautiful.
You shove me away from hugs, but that's okay.
The rose looked a little more wilted, but it was pretty, as it would always
be.
You yelled. You swore. You ripped my heart apart. It could be mended, though.
But then, you gave the rose to another girl.
Maybe you didn't mean it.
The rose looked like it was dying. I shook it off and continued on.
You showed me no love.
the rose looked sad.
Then, you left.
I stood watching you leave, the rose clutched to my chest.
My tears landed softly landing on the rose's petals
A gust of wind, and the rose was torn from my hands, just like you were
torn from my heart.

Another gives me a rose, with sincere love.
I hold the precious snow-white rose close to my heart, I will not let the wind sweep this one away
meh I was bored. It wasn't even orginally about roses, but then weird things happened.
