Introduction
Hey guyz/gurlz! Today I will be reviewing the popular creative server, Edawg878! Of course I did not get OP instantly (cuz duhhh), so I had to experience the server for myself over more than eight months. Hope you enjoy this review! General Server Introduction
Edawg878 is a plot creative server, and it also allows people to change to survival and pvp mode. Inappropriate builds and sexual chat in the global chat is strictly prohibited, which means the server is child friendly. The server is mainly focused on roleplay and building roleplay buildings.
My Experience
When I first went on the server the global chat was booming with advertisements for roleplays and builds. It was very easy to know the commands because of the simple spawn. When I claimed and went to my plot, the plot was large and flat. As I started to build my first house I noticed that redstone was locked, and it said I had to vote 6 times to get redstone or buy 'tier', I decided to vote 6 times, and as I went back to the game it said I unlocked worldedit AND redstone, so I was pretty exited to try out worldedit.
It has been a few months now, and I have built a few buildings. I looked at the chat again and I see MANY advertisements for roleplays, which I was fine with. But what really made me wonder is the 'speed dating, blind dating, truth or dare and requests to be married. Out of curiosity I teleported to a speed dating plot, and I was surprised at what I saw. I saw a little cubical room thing, one side pink and one side blue. Men were on the blue and ladies were on the pink. I went in the pink cubicle room and some user handed me a flower and book saying: "Ey gurl, wanna be my gf? If so come to my plot for a bit of fun time ;) (Not joking, that was what it said o_o). So of course, I teleported to my plot.
Now onto the chat, I loved how the staff were very friendly and strict about bullies and stuff, but what made me angry was that only *tiers (*tiers are people who pay IRL money to get a rank) and moderators were actually chatting. It made me feel even more angry that whenever a normal player were to reply or start a conversation, the tiers would just ignore them. Also tiers get alot of attention even when they only pay like $10 to the server.
Problems and Positives
The problems are that the COMMUNITY is very mean. I mean, not EVERYONE is mean, just some people. Tiers are treated like they are royals and the average players are like slaves.
The positives is that the server is well thought/organised. They have a good way to get advertised, with the WorldEdit thing and redstone thing. The moderators and admins are very friendly and kind, and very helpful when it comes to reporting and repairing greifs. The plots are very large and good to build large buildings.
So overall, I think this server is pretty good. The only problem is the community, but nothing can stop that
So I think I will give Edawg878 Creative a 8/10 star server rating.

Anyway, I can't really connect to edawg anymore because of problems, not sure why though.
