When I first started using quicktime player, i noticed that it was very slow on minecraft. I tried changing the quality to medium, but that did practically nothing laginess wise. Recently I thought of a quick fix, though, that can get rid of almost all lag. Here are some easy steps to enhance your performance without spending money on crappy screen recorders that work even worse than quicktime player:

4.) Screen record a sample of minecraft and test out how it's working. Keep going down in resolution if the quality is laggy, and if the quality is perfect you may want to bump up the resolution a bit more.
