Professionalism. This is what makes the difference between a post that will intrigue PMCers or won’t. In this short blog I hope to expand your knowledge and teach you how you can make your posts look nicer and alternately bring more views.
1. Use a nice picture.
This is the best possible way to get that first glance from the crowd! Having a good quality picture that you’ve made or is original as the cover of your post. A good example is my cover photo, I’ve used a in game screen shot from my Minecraft world and added over the top the title of my blog. Simple but good. And just to top it off I did use my good shader pack and pick a nice landscape in my world.
2. Use correct grammar.
This might be difficult if you struggle with writing but getting this part right is crucial. The better people understand what you're telling the more they’ll know and want to comment their views. And a good way of doing this is before you even start creating a post is to go on to a desktop publishing software like Microsoft Word and writing out what you want to say. This is good because it’ll auto underline mistakes and help with grammar.
3. Reflect and comment.
Last but not least. What I mean by reflect and comment is look at what the community have given back, go through the comments and see what they’ve said. This’ll really help because you’ll now know by seeing the amount of comments and favourites which post are most popular and have the biggest impact on PMC. And as always you’ll attract more people to check out your stuff if you reply, they’ll get on better and learn more about you.
I hoped this help and thankyou for reading, if you did finish it please take a little more of your time just to favourite this blog and comment to know you enjoyed it, and of course leave your opinions in the comment section below!
