In full honesty, I have no idea what you're trying to say. You don't really reach a specific point in your argument and I stuggle to identify your thesis.
However, from what I could gleam, I'll say this: people do not copy thumbnails (there is no point to it) and rarely does stolen content reach the front page. If it does, it's removed very quickly.
Yes the front page is seen to be a big deal and is overrated , but these days, the hype is scaling back. I'm no longer seeing "OMG FRONT PAGE!!!1!" titles anymore.

All in all, I mildly chuckle at this blog complaining about people getting to the front page and how supposed "unoriginal" posts are making it to the front page. This blog is on the front page, and I've seen this topic so many other times in other blogs...on the front page.

I have to agree with you in that the blog is difficult to understand (Largely due to hard to read fonts and lack of general structure or organization of ideas), and the message that is left is almost irrelevant to the current status of the site. Perhaps the author was just trying to, you guessed it, get themselves onto the pop-reel.

Sigh...This post just made a ton of assumptions on how things work around here. PMC's basic rules prohibit any and all forms of plagiarism. The pop reel takes hard work (except for blogs and texture packs it seems) to get. For skins, you need at least 20 diamonds in the span of a single day to even consider getting popreel. Just because it looks easy, doesn't mean it is. Don't assume.
