If your using weedlion's c4d rig, which it looks like you are, I would suggest to turn off fingers. I personally think they make the hands look a bit weird. Also in the render settings for c4d, you can go to anti-aliasing or something like that and change "Geometry" to "Best" and "Cube" to "Michelle". I can't remember the exact settings off the top of my head at the moment sorry. :/ Anyway changing those settings makes the character look much smoother, you can also add a global illumination effect. :)
