Obsession

We've all got an obsession with something with some it might be your obsessed with minecraft or you're obsessed with some hot band or actor. Doesn't matter what your obsessed with we're all the same when it comes to obsessing over this thing. Culture has come up with many nicknames of obsessive people over time one being right now in our culture "Fangirls". Which I would have to say myself I am a fangirl of pretty much anything you can find on the internet.
What does it mean?
Obsession is the state of being obsessed with someone or something.
Which pretty much means if right now your devoting your life to someone or something.
You're obsessed!
The line between Hobby and Obsession.
The definition of "Hobby" is an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure. When your "hobby" get in the way of family and friends. When you would rather stay home and play video games or go out and do your "Hobby" rather then be around people you love. Thats an obsession. Obsession can take over your life if you're not careful.
Fan girls
Fangirls. We've all met one in our life atleast once. They're completely obsessed with someone or something. Some of them will literly breakdown in tears if there obsession is sad or no longer around anymore. Some will even go to extreme lengths of depression (In some cases). For an example, my friend is completely obsessed with the Magcon boys. When it comes to the point where she will cry for hours over them. Also we will be in a skype call and she will be on twitter, looking at photos of them, or photoshopping her face in pictures with them (Sorry Alyssa For mentioning you in this blog but your a perfect example! XD).
Video game Addiction
Video game addiction is an excessive or compulsive use of computer games or video games, which interferes with a person's everyday life. Minecraft is one of those games that you can become easily obsessed with. It could be though skinning to just playing the game.
What makes minecraft so obsessive?
Minecraft is a sandbox game where you can do anything you want. You can do whatever you want! When people ask me why i'm so obsessed with this game, I always say that its like online legos. You can build whatever you want. Its like a creative outlet for some people.
