As arrows flung into the ground, only the sound of whimpers surveyed the narrow forest. Men and women with loaded crossbows piled into the alleyways of the swamp-like forest . "Shh! Your gonna get us caught, Blaze!" Blaze noticed his tail violently swaying in stress. They couldn't remember the last time something "normal" had happened to them. The four slick foxes had been hiding under, on top of, and in trees. They had been sliding under bushes, or hiding in rivers, ever sense the humans occupied their lands.

"Dammit"  thought Pinto as his tail nearly touched a hunter from inside a bush. They were four foxes, they all had met in the "war" as some called it. Sprite, the devious, female, mischievous, bright spirited warrior, with a light green base and a neon tint.
Blaze, the positive, strong, slick red fox with an orangey color around the highlights of his base color. Frozen, the smart, protective, sly bluish silver fox, with the closest connection to Sprite. Frozen was the first to know Sprites secret. Then, their was Pinto. The gray and white, easily scared, light tempered figure. They made one heck of a.. unlikely team.

As the hunters left the forest, with a few bunnies all four of them peaked from their hiding spots. It was like.. a game of hide and seek. Yet if you were found, you were ALSO exterminated. Fun right? Pinto fell STRAIGHT into a tree with relief, which turned to rage when he saw Sprite laughing. "Well, thats over.." said Sprite. Frozen nodded in agreement. Pinto didnt even move. He was just a heap.. under a tree. Blaze poked Pinto with a stick to make sure he was still alive. Yep.. Pinto snapped the stick and went back to being a heap in the ground.

They went back in their dug out.. square shaped tunnel in the ground. All four of them fell. "Did a hunter dig out.." A blue creature was in the front of their now tiled base.. Their were pillars, lights, gems.. It was confusing knowing that they literally left 20 minutes ago. The blue creature simply stared back at the four of them. Before anyone actually knew what was happening, they were raised onto 4 stone plaques. The blue creature talked in some sort of cipher. No one knew WHAT it was saying. It seemed to have a spiritual body resembling a wolf. It talked on and on.. The plaques shifted. Speechless they all stood. "What the hell?" said Frozen. Suddenly the gems rose to the top of the room. ( I bet yur all wondering what is happening rn. ) Slowly they placed on the plaques. The blue creature faded. "What just.." Pinto screeched. "Yea i wont ask.." said Sprite. Blaze stayed speechless on the stone plaque. As soon as Frozen moved off the plaque, a small ice berg peeked out of the floor. Everyone just stared. "Did i just.. or.." Frozen said speechless. A green figure appeared in the middle of the room. "Again with these.. holograms.. can someone explain whats happening.." Pinto said hiding in a corner.

"Oh i'm no hologram." said Vine, whipping a large stone at Sprite. "Vine.." Sprite shot out. "What do you want NOW?" "Leave my friends alone! For once be a normal being whose NOT trying to take over the world and learn that we have FEELINGS." "Who said im not normal?" Said Vine, now shifting over to the four creatures. "W-who are you! Sprite how do you know its name!" said Blaze.

"You'll learn soon. Blaze, I believe? Your gonna know me. Your gonna know ALL of it. Isn't that right Sprite?" Sprite charged at him.. As soon as this happened, a boulder shot straight into Vine. "I-Impressive, Pixie." Sprite stuttered. "Im not "Pixie" flower!" They started fighting like generic siblings as the other three shot "What even" looks at eachother. "ENOUGH!" Frozen walked in between the two of them chest up and all. "Bad. Idea." Vine shot her across the room. Sprites eyes widened and she remembered what just happened.

"What do you WANT?" Sprite said, noticing Pinto had scrunched behind her and was shivering.. "You know what I want, Pixie." Sprite moved a paw, and all of a sudden another boulder had swiped around Vine. No one honestly knew what was going on at this point. Vine smirked, sending one three times the size at her. "You cant beat me. You know you cant. Join me now and no one gets hurt. Don't you miss your brother?" Said Vine. Sprite turned around, now crying. Frozen was the only one who had an idea who this creature was. Vine was a relative of Sprite. He had taken over all of her family. But Sprite was known as being the strongest one. Vine however didn't like that. He played off as her best friend for over 400 years. And then, abducted the family. Including her brother, Imp. They had all been creatures of mythology but never had they known just how "unique" they were.
