Hello PMC I thought I would have a go at making some ideas for this contest.
My first idea is a friends list function. I think this could improve minecraft massively, take steam for example they have a very simple design and easily accessible friends list feature.
Pros:
Know when your friends are on-line.
Be able to communicate across servers with ease.
Able to communicate with the community.
Cons:
Get in the way whilst playing SMP,SSP.
Could be irritating if more than one person was messaging you at a time.
Could cause additional lag.
My second idea is to add more animals and food into the game. I think minecraft is lacking in food to eat and animals or birds.
I think some of the following animals should be added.
Goats(DROP: Goats Horn)
Rabbits(DROP: Rabbit Meat, Rabbit Foot)
Crabs(DROP: Crab Claw, Crab meat)
Lobster(DROP: Lobster Meat)
Fish(DROP:Sardine, Mackerel, SwordFish, JellyFish)
Toads/Frogs(DROP:Frogs Legs)
Pigeons(DROP:Pigeon Claws, Pigeon Meat)
Seagulls(DROP: Beak, Claws)
This could then lead on to bigger things for example you could make jewellery(necklaces, Rings) Additional armour or weapons.
