Hi everyone! So this is my idea or the Minedeas Conest.
Something I thing that would be cool would be gods. You heard me, gods. So it would be almost like Ancient Greece. Having a god in the ocean that if you angered him or her (by killing all the squids and other sea life that would be added such as sharks, dolphins, whales etc.) he/she would send a tsunami or eternal rain or a flood. Zues might decide to rain lightning bolts on the towns people. (a.k.a squidwards) Also making villagers more smart. Not just like the more people mod or the friends mod or whatever those are called. Io m talking them being able to like type out o hey how ya doin?o o whats up?o o thank gods Zues hasno t rained lightning on us this month. We just got over his last tyrant.o Also having like neighboring villages be able to fight each other. Another cool thing would being able to marry a god or goddess and also being able to gain supernatural powers and immortality. Maybe being able to spawn in and have the ability to breath underwater or maybe have a special connection with animals.
I believe this would help Minecraft because most people dono t like Minecraft because its to blocky, or ito s not realistic. So this would appeal to those people who study ancient Greece and study mythology. It would also appeal to those who want Minecraft to be realistic. It would also appeal to those who are getting bored and want a change.
Also some crafting recipes that would go along with this would be spears, javelin, daggers, knifes, hammers and shields. For food maybe olives, olive oil and other olive related food since at the moment I lack the ability to name any.
Maybe adding some gems and adding crafting recipes for them.
As for terrain generation you should spawn in a village with a special job. Maybe fishing, mining, cutting down trees, smelting ore and making armour. There should also be a shrine were you would have to sacrifice something. If the gods wereno t happy whoever brought the sacrifice would get cursed or maybe the entire town/city/village would get cursed.
