This is sorta a diary of my kind of 'social experiment' I've set up a Minecraft server for it. A short explanation, this is a project in civilzation development wherein everyone can play a specific job role. A long explanation, there are no real rules besides, don't touch spawn and things of the sort. People have to make "laws" on their own and enforce them on their own if they don't want everyone doing anything they want. This is a test to see how people will act in a world of no rules, will they be in a state of constant chaos? Or will a single group rise and create order. I will document everything here.
So far nothing much has happened, (as there is only 5 players) some people have been hired to cut down trees for a wealthy player, a person has been hired to build and everyone has been building their abodes. Some theft has happened, but things stolen have been taken back.
The server has the Minecraft Bending Plugin (which adds Avatar: The Last Airbender style bending) which has added some form of culture. Players built a bending arena out of stone,and sandstone so people can watch bending battles.
**UPDATE 8/16/2014**
Much has happened since a large influx of players to the server. People have named the current era "The Aeon of Pioneering". Two Nations have been created, Yoppend and MyerWell. These two nations have been peaceful and have signed a peace treaty between eachother. They are working together to create laws, and they're making a currency of signed books, probably signed by a government official.
A group of people have formed, known as the "Lore Keepers" (stealing my job) they are a neutral party dedicated to cataloging the history of the server.
Some more theft has happened and multiple new buildings have popped up all over the place. Who knows how relations between Yoppend and MyerWell are gonna be, but, things are definitely becoming more interesting.

The old MyerWell has been destroyed.
Myerwell become aggressive against everyone else that's not in their town, and didn't want to co-operate with anyone. There was claims of them stealing from Yoppend, the other nation. The Avatar had enough with this and their rudeness and unleashed his power unto their city. After that, majority of MyerWell that was on at the time quit (eventhough only 1 house had partially burned down) and a new peaceful leader took control, restoring balance to the server.

MyerWell has fallen, they raided and burnt down Yoppend before the Avatar did the same to them and their land. They did this as a person not belonging to a nation stole their chests and the stuff in it (he literally took their chests). They assumed it a agent of Yoppend and then attacked, (They stupidly broke one of the only 3 rules and destroy a bunch of the spawn room, so I got to ban them :D) after that the Avatar razed their city to the ground. Yoppend is reported to begin moving to a Savannah Biome and the leader is taking leave from running the nation, Bobby and Reer, the co-leaders are taking over for the time being.

If you want to participate in this social experiment, PM me. Though there is 20 server slots, I doubt I'll fill that up from volunteers from here. (Participants from planet minecraft will be under heavy scrutiny to see if they break any of the few rules that I have set in place)
