New Blocks!
Granite:
Description:
Granite comes in two versions:
- Granite
- Polished Granite
This block can be found naturally in updated chunks/biomes.
You can also craft these blocks
Andesite:
Description:
Andesite comes in two versions:
- Andesite
- Polished Andesite
This block can be found naturally in updated chunks/biomes.
You can also craft these blocks
Diorite:
Description:
Diorite comes in two versions:
- Diorite
- Polished Diorite
This block can be found naturally in updated chunks/biomes.
You can also craft these blocks
Slime Block:
Description:
The slime block is a new block which works like a trampoline
This is great if you live in the sky since you wont take any fall damage
Clicking space while landing on the block will make you stop bouncing
This block can be crafted our found in the creative menu
Skin Changes
Skins are now twice as big!
I'm not talking about the resolution :(
You can simply add jackets, pants or whatever you want to
Here's a little example of a skin (found on reddit)
LL - left leg
RL - right leg
LA - left arm
RA - right arm
Wanna know something epic about this?
You can freaking customize this.
Take off your pants or whatever you want to
You can find this in the options menu --> "Skin Customization"
New Commands
/blockdata
Description:
Everything you see for the blockdata command is by craftykids
/blockdata changes a block's data tags.
/blockdata [X] [Y] [Z] [Data tags] will give the block at [X], [Y], [Z] the data tags [Data tags].
So if you used /blockdata ~ ~-1 ~ {Command:"/say Hello!"} while standing on a command block, it would change the command block's command to /say Hello!
/fill
Description:
Filling blocks! This command is awesome
So, you need 2 cords & a block type
First corner & second corner
Example: (x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z1 block)
/fill 500 1 200 502 5 502 minecraft:stone
This would fill in an area with stone ;)
/clone
Description:
You need 3 cords to run this command
Clone your builds!
Example: (/clone x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2 x y z mode)
/clone 200 64 200 200 69 200 205 64 200 replace
This command would clone your build.
It looks confusing yes, but it works ;)
The relace is for replacing air blocks or anything which is already there
/Particle
Description:
You can spawn particles.
You can also change the duration and size of the particle
Example: (Spawn in some smoke)
/particle smoke x y z 1 1 1 0.5 2
You can play around with this yourself
The first 3 would be the co-ords ;)
Command changes/new stuff
Teleport
(I need someone to help me explain the y-rotation and x-rotation)
You can now choose where people would be looking at :O
/tp @p x y z y-rotation x-rotation
example:
/tp @p ~ ~ ~ 90 ~
This command would make you loot towards west
Setblock
You can now lock chests using the setblock command
example:
/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:chest 0 replace {Lock:CODE}
This would place a chest with a lock named CODE
You can rename an item, call it code and open the chest :)
Don't Worry! The adventure mode change is down below ;)
Item frame signals?
Description:
A new awesome "adventure map feature" has been added.
Item frames can now detect signals depending on the rotation
Rotating your item once would increase the signal by one
(This only works with comparators ofc)
Button changings!
Descriptions:
You can now place buttons on the floor/ceilings
Block Changes
Doors:
You can now stack doors up to 64
Crafting doors will give you 3 doors
Mossy cobblestone
This block is now craft-able!
Moss stone brick:
This block is now craft-able!
Chiseled Blocks
You can now craft chiseled blocks!
Enchanting
Enchanting requires lapis now, wait wut?
So...
Enchanting changed A LOT
You can now see your first enchantment
Enchantments wont reset until you enchant something (no more refresh for new enchant)
You will only loose 3 levels if you enchant a lvl 30 enchantment
This new enchantment system has made enchanting easy and even more awesome
I would give the new system 8/10 ;)
Anvils changed as well. I'm not doing a line for anvils since it's simple xD
Adventure Mode
Not a lot to say about this but here it is:
They changed it so you can't destroy or place ANY block
Note: You can still get items from item frames :)
But not being able to destroy blocks? wut
WE CAN CHANGE THIS!
Here is a command which gives you a shear which can destroy dirt (dirt only)
/give @p minecraft:shears 1 0 {CanDestroy:["minecraft:dirt"]}
The new tag "CanDestroy" allows you to make sure players can destroy specify blocks!
Trading/Villagers
Villagers are now overpowered!
Villagers are now easier to work with.
They have different jobs such as weapon smith or tool smith
This means that the same skinned villager have different trades
The reason why it's overpowered is because you can turn enderpeals into emerald
Iron farms wont work anymore since breeding changed.
Villagers will now breed based of trading
Trading with villagers would make them horny (no more doors)
Refreshing trades has changed as well, simply: trade with them and close your menu. This will reset the tradings
Locking world difficulty
Not much to say, check your options menu :D
