As the title sugests, today I will be talking about the exciting, minecraft 2.

Did anyone notice how mojang slowed down development on minecraft after microsoft bought mojang?

Lets think about this.

How does microsoft profit more then 3 BILLION with just minecraft? The answer? Its impossible.

However, since microsoft owns the rights to minecraft, they can profit off minecraft 2.

When will minecraft become minecraft 2.

My guess is after minecraft 2.0, but my guess is as good as yours.

When minecraft 2 is coming:

Nobody knows, my guess is some time 2017, Also I guess they won't be using java to make minecraft 2. They will probably use a game engine, or make their own.

What would minecraft 2 be like?

Minecraft 2 would be a game with a far different theme, my guess is it will have a hardcore survival mode. something that adds thirst, cold/heat system, etc.

Why would mojang make a sequel rather then update?

You can't sell an update, but you can sell a sequel.
