~¤~Stone in a Sword~¤~
~Map Making Tutorial~
~by: Barinthus~
~~A sword in a stone could be a neat decorative aspect in any map. This can only be done with creative, and through the use of command blocks. You cna use this in an adventure map, or an RPG world, or a recreation of the Legend of Zelda world! This decoration makes use of the new Armor Stand feature. Get ready for a very easey tutorial :D!~~

You cna use this in an adventure map, or an RPG world, or a recreation of the Legend of Zelda world! This decoration makes use of the new Armor Stand feature. Get ready for a very easey tutorial :D!~~
~~Step One: Getting Ready~~
A list of items you should need:
• Command Block
(((You can get this by using the following command: "/give (your_name) command_block 1")))
• An Enchanted Sword
(((While I know that it's possible to add equipment in the command, I rather not do it so that people can customize the hand item))
~Once you have these items in your hands, you can get started!

~Once you have these items in your hands, you can get started!
~~Step Two: The Set Up~~
Okay :D This is fairly easy. Just follow the instructions!
Step 2.1
Just place your "stone" on top of a command block
((( I think that ender portals and anvils are great "Stones"! )))
As you saw up there, the Command-Blocks already have a button on them. This is so you can activate them :D
Step 2.2
Place the command in the command block. Use the following command:
/summon ArmorStand ~-0.2 ~0.9 ~-0.4 {Rotation:[0f,0f],NoGravity:1,Invisible:1,ShowArms:1,NoBasePlate:1,Pose:{Head:[0f,0f,0f],LeftArm:[0f,0f,0f],RightArm:[-90f,45f,180f],LeftLeg:[0f,0f,0f],RightLeg:[0f,0f,0f],Body:[0f,0f,0f]}}
((WARNING: These armor stands are nearly indestructible. The only way I know to destroy them is with /butcher(a plugin command). Read the Warning/Technical Section before pressing the button))
Step 2.3
I cannot Stress this enough. Read the Warning/Technical Section before continuing.
After you've read, simply press the button :D
You won't be able to see the armor stand, but it's there. Simply right-click over the stone (Where the armor stand would be) with the enchanted sword in your hand! The armor stand should pick up the sword and you're done!!!
((If you cannot find the armor stand, use the command "/gamemode 3". This will let you see a "ghost" image of the armor stand.))
Step 2.1
Just place your "stone" on top of a command block
((( I think that ender portals and anvils are great "Stones"! )))
Step 2.2
Place the command in the command block. Use the following command:
/summon ArmorStand ~-0.2 ~0.9 ~-0.4 {Rotation:[0f,0f],NoGravity:1,Invisible:1,ShowArms:1,NoBasePlate:1,Pose:{Head:[0f,0f,0f],LeftArm:[0f,0f,0f],RightArm:[-90f,45f,180f],LeftLeg:[0f,0f,0f],RightLeg:[0f,0f,0f],Body:[0f,0f,0f]}}

~~!!!Warning/Technical!!!~~
Thank you for reading this!
(It will serve you well))
Invisible Armor Stands: Invisible armor stands are indestructible. You cannot break them in creative nor survival. You can't burn them, you can't punch them. The only way to destroy Invisible ArmorStands, is to use "/kill @e[r=5,type=ArmorStand]". The upside is that invisble armorstands will never get in the way. Unless they're equpped with something, they will be invisible, and will not obstruct yout way, so it's okay if you spawn one and don't want to use it. If you do not want your armorstand to be invisible, use the following command:
/summon ArmorStand ~-0.2 ~0.9 ~-0.4 {Rotation:[0f,0f],NoGravity1,Invisible:0,ShowArms:1,NoBasePlate:1,Pose:{Head:[0f,0f,0f],LeftArm:[0f,0f,0f],RightArm:[-90f,45f,180f],LeftLeg:[0f,0f,0f],RightLeg:[0f,0f,0f],Body:[0f,0f,0f]}}
Rotating the Sword: The command is made so that the sword will face a specific way. Although the sword will look good from all angles, you might want to rotate it. This is done by modifying the highlighted parts of the command below:
/summon ArmorStand ~-0.2 ~0.9 ~-0.4 {Rotation:[0f,0f],NoGravity:1,Invisible:1,ShowArms:1,NoBasePlate:1,Pose:{Head:[0f,0f,0f],LeftArm:[0f,0f,0f],RightArm:[-90f,45f,180f],LeftLeg:[0f,0f,0f],RightLeg:[0f,0f,0f],Body:[0f,0f,0f]}}
The first 2 highlighed areas are for the position. You will want to alter the third highlighted area. To rotate the Armor Stand you alter Rotation:[0f,0f]. You will alter the first 0f, to rotate it. replace it with an angle such as 45f or 180f.
After rotating it, you might need to reposition it. You will do this by using the first 2 highlighted areas. It greatly helps if you've used command blocks before.
