So, Some people I know saw some of my blogs and videos and said to me how in the world could I build stuff like that and they cant. I said one simple thing. Experience. All I said was keep on building and you will work out your own skills that will help you become better. But, since I'm nice, I'm going to give everyone a few tips.

1) Use depth, I look at things and the main thing I see is the use of depth in a build. For example, when making a tower or structure that has a large side that is flat, it looks rather boring. Using more blocks to add a depth to the wall really helps. For instance using glass panes and iron bars on the wall or using more blocks on the side of the wall making an indent or a part that comes out.

2)Colour is a big thing, it is a lot easier to look at a wall with colour that a plane wall. Put it this way, it is easier to look at a white wall with a red pattern on, then just a plain white wall.

3)Nature, using your landscape to your advantage is always very useful. A good way to help is to make custom terrain using tools such as WorldEdit and VoxelSniper.
