Today i am showing you how to make your own 3D pictures of your skin, to upload to sites or create cool images. The download links are at the bottom, but also where neccesary.
(For you all with a mac, i am sorry, i don't have any knowledge about mac, and i think the software is not available for mac.)
This is what we will have in the end, a png that you can use for any blog, skin post or other website.
With it, you can also create pictures like this, to make a skin preview or something look cool.
The programs you need to create png's like the one above, and to view you own skins in 3D, is Skin Viewer Extended. Using this program you can easily import your own skins and view them in 3D, and i will show you how to do that below. You can download the Skin Viewer Extended HERE.
To view existing skins that people have on them, you can use the reguler Skin Viewer. You can download it on the same page.
Another program that is very useful for creating pictures like the example in the minecraft village, is photoshop. It is definetly the best program to use.

When you have installed Skin Viewer Extended you should have an icon like this:
Click it, and you will open up Skin Viewer Extended:
First off, try to play with steve, you can move his limbs and his head, and you can turn him around by moving his body:
Now we will try to import our own skin, i will use the Gamer Steve skin i made.
Click on the 3 dots button you see next to the dimensions of the textures. you will find a file browser where you can select your skin:

I will select my Gamer Steve skin, but you have to select your own skin of course. After you selected your skin, you will see it instead of steve, and you can move his limbs etc.
Now, we click save image. it will open up another file browser, where you can save the skin as you want:
And There's your png file.
