"This can't be happening!" thought Aalo as she looked up at her saver. There in front of her was Tanner, but you probably need to here some more back story before I go on.
Well, Aalo was an average little tom-girl at six. She had little dirty blonde hair, short sleeve shirt, some what long shorts, tennies, and blue rim glasses. She had plenty of friends. For example her best friend Gaby, who almost never left her side. Then around 4th grade she got braces. At the end of 4th grade year she had to move do to her family's low income. Living her new life the little girl was getting used to 5th grade. She even had her glasses and braces taken off that year. Then that summer magic came back to the modern day world, and everything was changing. Poor Aalo's hair grew faster than usual, then stopped around haft of her back. Her hair also changed into a flame color, and she gain powers. Her parent decreed her to go to Majestic Middle School for Magicians.
That leads us back to now, Aalo just about face planted on her face when she was saved by Tanner.(Tanner was a friend of Aalos that she knew sense kindergarten. She had a HUGE crush on him, but some how played it cool.). Tanner him self panicked thinking that she was hurt and quickly said, "Aalo are you OK?". Shocked that he remembered her, Aalo fainted in his arms. Poor Tanner almost had a heart attack when this happened, but quickly brought her to the nurses office. Luckily, they both came to school early for less embarrassment. By the time she woke it was still early, but they had 1 hour before school officially started. Aalo, who had just woken up said with a startle " I'm so so sorry this happened! I wasn't meant to be trouble." The nurse had a quick talk with Aalo then she went back to work, while Aalo left the Nurse's office. Outside the Nurses Office waiting was Tanner. As soon as Tanner saw her he walk right up to her and asked, "Are you OK?". Aalo herself wasn't sure but, the sight of Tanners frighten face got her to say, "Yes, I'm perfectly fine." she also managed to slip a smile. "Oh ok." Tanner sighed in relief. They walked and had a little bit of odd silence, until Tanner broke the silence by saying. " So what classes do you have?" Aalo shocked he said it so calmly replied, "Why do you want to know?" "I want to catch up and see how you've been" he replied. She unwilling gave him her schedule, and turns out that both have the same classes except two. Aalo has Dram (Drama) and Mstc Crtr 101 (Mystic Creatures 101). When the bell rang she followed him to home room and from that point forward.
Just before lunch was art, and boy did those two have a surprise waiting for them in the art room. There were three faces she remembered. The twins and Noble were waiting right there for them.("The Twins" A.K.A. Jacob and Raymond, these boys were friends of both Aalo and Tanner. Aalo though was the only person who could tell them apart so, they thought of her more. They thought of her like a Toy and often don't like "Sharing" her.) (Noble is Tanner's cousin and Aalo met him in 5th grade. He might have a crush on her, but who knows now.) "Well well well... look its our TOY!", the twins said in sink. Noble stood there dumb founded that his cousin and a girl from 5th grade that he liked were hanging out. Aalo who favorite class happened to be art said in a low growl, "Don't ruin this class for me.". Tanner amazed that his friends and cousin where in the same school exclaimed, "Hey guys!". Aalo on the other hand prayed that one of her girl friends came to this school. She prayed wrong. Then class began, the teacher walked up front and began her probably practiced speech. " Hello my name it Mrs. Lokmothe, I will be your art teacher this year. Each month you have a main assignment this month it will be something in school that you love!". Aalo could not stop thinking about this and of course the boys could tell. The day before the project presentations at lunch the twins finally asked "Aalo, what's on your mind?". Aalo thinking how could they tell said " Nothing". "There's something going on in there" Noble added. "How can you tell?" she replied back. Tanner answered by saying, " You dose off almost any time you can get peace and your eyes grow full of color, kinda like when you draw." Aalo shocked that the boys payed that much attention to her replied, " Just that art project...., but you guys gave me an idea!" then she quickly ran off.
The next day Aalo came in art with nothing but a canvas other people had huge collages and 3d models, yet she had a canvas. No one could see the picture because she kept it hidden. Minutes flew by project after project until finally Aalo came up. She turned the canvas over, and there was very detailed drawings of her, Tanner, Raymond, Jacob, and Noble. Everyone awe at this drawing in amazement. When class was over she was complemented all through the halls. One boy even tried to ask her out, but all four boys stepped in and said "She taken.". When they went to there usual eating spot she had a sudden bolts of energy, and ran there. As she ran she thought, "Middle School? With magic?...BRING IT!".
