During the present times, Steve is a common citizen; a confident and a good man which used to have many friends. His life consisted in happy moments before his parents' demise.
One day, Steve had dinner watching TV. The news showed up. "We have bad news from our spies. A nuclear holocaust will occur tonight at 4 a.m. All citizens are adviced to take food, medical supplies, weapons and tools to protect themselves from the nuclear holocaust. People which already participates to a corporation with underground shelters constructed or people are at work, they are adviced to search an underground shelter. (...)" While Steve packed his rucksack and put in food, supplies and tools, a knock can be heard at his door. Steve opens the door and two men in black suits are present. "Hello. We are NRP Inc. Bodyguards and we have selected your bunker where you will live. You will come with your supplies." Quietly, Steve comes with the men in black suit to the respective place. When they arrive, a gloomy, dark forest surrounds a wooden shack which leads to an underground room which is located a stasis chamber designated S02. Steve was placed in stasis and the men in black suit are operating a stasis control to Steve. "All systems are operating. Stasis control open is set to 25.000 years." The men in black suit leaves the stasis chamber and Steve will "sleep" in the cryogenic stasis for 25.000 years.
The nuclear holocaust occured earlier than said by the news. People got scared; groceries were broken by desperate citizens in order to steal and scavenge food and supplies and drivers got crazy and reached the max speed of their cars, many of these causing accidents. When the nuclear bomb landed, a fiery wave of fire which smelted everything in the path has been formed. None got the chance to escape. People got smelted by the nuclear fusion and survivors died of radiation or due to radiation turned into savage walkers, also known popularly as zombies. Spiders became huge creatures which ate survivors who became unaffected by radiation. Skeletons are supernatural creatures invoked by people specialized in necromancy that used to be called witchmen, or if female, witches. Creepers are experiments failed by scientists which after the failed experiment, were pigs genetically mutated by radiation and scientific robots, having self-exploding organ which is used as a suicide machine for creepers, although their origin used to be extraterrestrial.
Some years later, an extraterrestrial obsidian spaceship dropped a bunch of long black monsters called Endermen. Their origin is extraterrestrial and they come from a black hole from Alpha Piscium which used to be called "The End". Their behavior is currently unknown, as they cannot be looked straight in the eye by people, eventually leading to a violent behavior, killing instantly the victim. As long as they are ignored, they can be considered docile.
As time passes, buildings fell down, mountains and monuments eroded, nature took control over Earth by many floods, animal attacks, overgrowth and abundent rain.
25.000 years has passed, and Steve's stasis carcass opens. "All systems stopped. Carcass activated." the stasis robot said. Steve wakes up in a small cave, lightened by the cryo-lightning and the humid stone surrounding Steve is covered in grass, crimson vines and green vines. Truffles can be seen inside the cave too. Steve decides to dig with his bare hands a clay opening which leads to a small collapse of stone, sand and dirt, eventually leading to a natural light. Steve climbs the opening and when arriving at the surface, he saw the world in an unrecognizable status. Trees, mountains, wild pigs, wild sheep, wild cows, wild roosters, all over the place. No more castles, skyscrapers, only the remains of underground shelters and homes burried deep underground, serving as nest to monstruosities.
The world Steve knew is now gone.
His only way to survive in this harsh and unforgiving life is to build a home, a home which he thinks that could be his only hope to survive. As restaurants and fast-foods disappeared, Steve thinks about him; he must eat and drink. Then he has to craft things which he can survive because in the past, Steve had comfort everywhere, but now he can't sleep in the grass. 
As Steve gatheres some wood and made a stick, he though he can defend himself with a stick, and he began exploring the "new" world.
In the distance, Steve saw a village; houses, farms, a church, blacksmith and a well. He though he was alone, but after a bit of detailed investigation, he thinks that if are humans, he wouldn't be alone, so he thinks about passing through the village. Long-headed and weird humanoids called "villagers" are inhabiting these villages. They have small intelligence, but their survival skills can be far better. Steve is now caring about the fact that he is alone and his only hope to have a life is to survive.
Survival is like a string which leads to intelligence which leads to actions which a man could perform. Exploring, hunting, chopping and mining are some criterias which can "improvise" the string. If the string is much and much better, hope of survival is increased.
Steve is now alone and he will begin his life anew.
