I had this idea in my head for a while, mainly because it's a frequent thing I see. The hordes of faction servers that practically offer the same features with a minor twist isn't exactly captivating. The overwhemling amount of HUB servers also leave a sickening impression since it's essentially a bunch of the same minigames without any significant progress or reward. How about PVPs? Kit inbalance or donor perks kinda kill it for me.
What am I saying exactly?
I actually enjoyed the basics of Minecraft, the essense that orignally got us all playing. Classic survival, that's the perfected game of Minecraft. I wish more servers improved upon that aspect, or something totally new,instead of going on the bandwagon of endless Faction-based garbage that people end up eating up. I believe lots of players haven't found 'their server', as in the server that suits what they need, stuff that immerses you like the first time you played. Infact, many just settle for what gets them by, I know I did by drifting from server to server for quite some time.
Find the right server, and give credit where it is actually due. Give the cool servers with something going for them a chance, as you'll experience something you'll never get from others without a vision, or a vision that is corrupt (there are cash-cow servers).

I'm just trying to bring attention to subpar servers that don't deserve the recognition they recieve, and urge readers to find servers that actually do.
