It takes a lot of time and effort, but you can get a few people interested if your content is good. I am at level 43, and that took 2 years almost. I got much vetter at what I do, and I do a lot more. I notice that PMC doesn't start pushing your content until you are at higher levels. Lower level member's stuff is rarely the first result unless you search by new. Just keep making stuff.

What don't leave! I know it's hard but if you hold on, people that actually care about you and your content will subscribe to you

Even it can be hard to get subscribers, you can get more support from random people,

Try to be more visible, talk to people, comment their works, support for support
If you need help, you can always ask, even in forums

Maybe you could try using MCreator and make stuff like datapacks, as that's how I got popular (this is only a suggestion)
