Hello, ive been on youtube for 3 years now, currently on my 2nd channel that ive had for about 5 months. I upload daily and most say my videos are good but i still only have 24 subs and 700 or so veiws... Why?
Simply because i think that becoming famous on youtube is not something you earn but just luck into. Like say someone famous sees your videos and shouts you out. Its all luck. Or if it isnt luck its all about who you know. Like say if you knew someone semi- famous or even famous, you could get them to shout you out. But what about me... What about us... The people that work so hard to produce entertaining content daily or weekly. The people that work just as hard (if not harder) at making videos as those who lucked into it. Do we even have a chance?
I make all my own GFX, i make my backgrounds, intros, logos, skins, outros and whatever else needs to be done. I use very sophisticated or professional software to do these things. I taught myself how to use all of them, but i still get 5 veiws per video. Im sure there are alot of people out there that do all this and dont get anywhere and it is frustrating. All your work put into youtube, all the time put into it, and your excited to see you got over 10 veiws today.
It takes me about a good half hour to set up equipment (mic, mouse, software etc...) to record. Another 10-20 minutes to record. 10 more minutes to edit audio. Another hour to edit. Another hour to render, and finally another hour to upload.Thats close to 4 hours of making video, and I do it once or twice or even three times a day. No it isnt easy to do this but i do enjoy it, but when i do upload and see only 3 other people are too, its discouraging. It almost seems not worth it. So why do I keep doing it. Simply because the fact i might have a small chance of getting somewhere but with every vid i upload i just seem farther away.
To finish up id like to leave with a question. What should i do? I do enjoy it but since im getting crap for veiws whats the point in that last hour?
