I interview one of the greatest builder of our time, IndianaCrafting.

P4F: Hey there, wanna do an Interview?
Indiana: sure man, go ahead.

P4F: Ok, What got you into Minecraft?
Indiana: I think it was about two years ago, when a friend of mine recommended it. I looked at it and I was like: Dude it's awful, the graphics suck, there's no chance I will ever play it. Couple of months later I changed my mind so I tried it, and realized that there are like no limits in the game, only your imagination & your creativity. You can be a 7 year old kid again, playing lego, it's just on the computer. I pretty much loved the concept :)

P4F: So about your maps, do you have any inspiration for building them?
Indiana: I try to make them as enjoyable as I can, providing a nice storyline, interesting quests and realistic terrain so the people who play them will feel like they live in that age/time, fully experiencing the adventures and the challenges of the map. Whether it's a castaway survival, where you have to keep the other survivors safe, and venture inside the deadly jungle to save another guy or a western style map with a nice town, where you can spend all the gold you found in the river to buy any kind of goods you like, or stay at the hotel, tame horses etc. The main thing I keep in mind when making map is: How would I enjoy it if I had to play it? Speaking of inspiration, I can't mention any particular map that kinda inspired me in a way it's worth mentioning. One of my newest map, CRUSOE was of course inspired by the famous novel 'Robinson Crusoe'. (I like books :) Speaking of the technical side of custom maps I definitely learned a lot from Sethbling and Hypixel's redstone creations/mechanisms.

P4F: Next question, Can you give us some PMC people you supports you and your works?
Sure. Sorry if I miss someone, there are a lot of people helping me on this site. :)

Candlebor - he's a nice person, gave awesome feedback on my maps, especially on 'Kidnapped'which is my personal favourite too. He's the guy who can fully appreciate my work and the way he expresses it is very inspirational!

Hgwells1 - this guy helped me a lot with his builds. He works fast and he's definitely one of the most reliable person I've met here.

Cuniculator - another awesome builder. He helped me a lot with his builds and testing the maps. One cool dutch kid, I think he runs a server now.

Orkz - I don't know him personally but he let me use one of his awesome terrains for my work. I got so many comments on how great the terrain was in that map, so I'm really thankful for him!

Last but not least I have to mention probably my two most loyal subscribers at pmc:
ObbyCow77 and dancats511. They are always among the first ones to diamond and comment on my projects. I'm thankful for them too!

P4F: Now, If you don't mind me asking, can you give us hints on your next map?
Indiana: It's inspired by a movie called Exam (from 2009), and the map's title will be the same. It's gonna be a revolutionary puzzle map in which you can test your memory, imagination and senses. Hopefully I can make something that'll blow your minds!

P4F: Any tips for us Map Makers?
Indiana: Most important thing is to be original, enjoy what you do, and don't do it only for fame or money! Don't rush, take your time, not only creating the map itself but also presenting it in a nice way. Quality screenshots, proper description. Co-operate with others as much as you can because it's fun. And don't listen to every comment you get. There are miserable people all over the Internet who just wanna mess with you, and ruin your day. Ignore them and be happy about the people who appreciate your work!

P4F: Now tell me, Who do you idolize? Both in PMC and Real Life
Indiana: There's a guy on PMC with breath-taking terrains. He's the only one I can think of right now. His username is Aurelien_Sama. Real life idol is a tough one. I would change my life in a way or two, but I can't say I would totally be someone else or idolize someone like that. I'd love to be Thomas Magnum for example, but that's just another fictional character again. I really don't know...

P4F: Lastly, If you were to work with Hypixel, what kind of map shall both of you make?

Indiana: It would look like this: - I would give him the ideas and I would do the story part and other smaller details such as characters, side quests, his building team would make the terrain and other builds, and I guess he would make the redstone part.

And about the map itself: It would be a huge medieval RPG style map with integrated survival parts. There would be a main story line with main quests you could complete in adventure mode, and there would be huge cities and small towns also, where you can pick up sidequests, and buy almost everything from traders, build your own house and so on... It would be like a normal RPG game, but in minecraft with more freedom and almost no boundaries.

P4F: Okay, Thanks for the interview.

Indiana: My pleasure!

That was just me, interviewing IndianaCrafting. Now go check him, and his maps out.
